Not all the shocks in Eureka are of the electrical variety. What's your favorite gaspworthy moment from the show?

Stark - my favorite and yet the most heartbreaking, which makes it all the more powerful.

Stark was the only one that mattered.
Carter getting fired was meh, Jo kissing Fargo wasn't a shocker, Callister being a robot was the story, no real twist and no shocker, Tess gets a dream job was just expected, Kim returns was a bit of a shocker - but then that storyline seemed to have a huge build with no real weight or outcome :(
I love the show, and love the geeky stories, but no real twists or shocks there.

I voted for Carter and pregnant Allison, but I have to say the biggest shocker for me is the Fargonator commericals! I still love you Neil, but um yeah, awkward ;o)

I laughed my ASS off when I saw the Fargonator commercial. One more reason I <3 Eureka. :D

Stark, no ifs, ands, or buts. That one is above and beyond all the other choices on offer. The weight and impact of that moment makes everything else pale in comparison.

Defintitely Stark sacrificing himself. Not only was it the first time a core character was dealt with such finality, but it also changed Jack and Allison's relationship such that seeing a romantic pairing while not out of the question, would certainly be awkward considering Stark's last request that Carter watch over her.

Finality? Michael, I can think of about ten different ways to return Stark off the top of my head. That was the most open-ended "demise" ever seen on TV. If the writers had really wanted to kill Nathan off, they would have had him hit by a bus or satellite debris.
It helps that I've been a comic-book reader since 1965. As they say, if you don't see a body, he isn't dead. And if you see a body, he's not necessarily dead either.
Not sure why Stark asking Carter to look over Allison precludes an eventual pairing. If anything, it'd make watching over her quite a bit easier. :)

Jeff,
From my perspective as a writer, bringing Stark back after that episode would really stretch the realm of credibility and in fact ruin an otherwise dramatic episode. Some things are better left alone, and Stark's death is one of them.
As to to how Carter's relationship is changed, one must understand the character's sense of honor and duty. My perception of Carter's demeanor is that he puts his duty above his own personal self-interest and with Stark basically entrusting her care to Carter, it would conflict with that sense of duty for him to pursue a romantic relationship. This is one of the reasons why I thought it was a brilliant move to bring a new character in the form of Tess into the mix, but it looks like that's going to get axed based on what I've been reading about casting announcements and such.

Would love to know what is happening with Beverly? Will she back and where did she transport to?
They were all great. Love Kim 2.0 and loved the end of Season 1 when they work up together. But when Stark gets in there and knows what is going to happen and finally calls Carter, Jack. It is a tear jerker from then to the end of the episode.

Considering Stark was the only person Carter could've went to for the infinite loop dilemma I saw that one coming so I wasn't entirely shocked by it. However if we were going for most emotional moment rather than shocking I'd probably choose that one.
