POST-COMIC-CON UPDATE: Video from the panel, red carpet interview, and more are available right here on Syfy.com!
UPDATE: We've seen the special preview video that'll be shown at the panel on Friday, and it will knock. Your. Socks. OFF.
It's baaaaa-aaaack! We're talking about Comic-Con, of course, the annual gathering at the San Diego Convention Center of fans and creators of comics, TV, movies, videogames, and a whole lot more.
This year Comic-Con runs July 21-24, and we can now officially announce that Eureka will be there as part of the Syfy family, with a panel and screening on Friday, July 22!
Here are the details for Friday's events with your favorite smart little town:
Small town. Big panel. Syfy’s smash hit Eureka is back at Comic-Con. Colin Ferguson (Jack Carter), Salli Richardson-Whitfield (Allison Blake), Neil Grayston (Douglas Fargo) and guest star Felicia Day (Dr. Holly Marten) join executive producers Jaime Paglia and Bruce Miller for a chat about the big secrets of America’s smartest little town. Moderated by guest star Wil Wheaton (Dr. Isaac Parrish; Wesley Crusher, Star Trek: Next Generation). Ballroom 20.
Check it out... we've moved to a bigger room, Ballroom 20, and how about that moderator?
9:00pm – 11:00pm, Syfy Screening: Eureka, Haven & The Mercury Men
Imagine Greater with fellow fans during an advanced preview screening of the next all-new episode of Eureka, followed by a special presentation of an all-new Haven. And be sure to stick around for the exclusive premiere of the all-new digital series, The Mercury Men. Room 6A.
How cool is this? We'll be showing a brand-new episode days before anyone else gets to see it! Don't miss out.
And, we've also learned that Maryjane's at the Hard Rock Hotel across the street from the convention center will once again be transformed (perhaps by some kind of device Fargo invented?) into Cafe Diem! Be sure to stop by. Last year the writers and actors had dinner there one night, so keep an eye out -- you never know who you'll meet!
See you in San Diego!

So jealous of all who get to attend this year's Comic-Con! I did get to see Wil & Jaime at Phoenix Comicon, but this panel is EPIC. Plus, Cafe Diem and the advanced screening... so cool.

I missed Cafe Diem in 2009, but will definitely check it out during this year's con, and I hope to get to that panel too! Looking forward to the upcoming season of Eureka!!

Oh, I wish I could attend, however, being a poor, broke massage therapist means no trips for me! ;)
Hey, no mention of Wil Wheaton in where the all mighty Bergopolis came from? For shame! *lol*

Wish I could go but can't take vacation then. Looking forward to hearing what happened and SOOO JEALOUS of those who get to see an episode before it airs. Can. Not. Wait. Is it Monday yet?

Someday, if I win the lottery, I'll go, it's pretty spendy. I haven't had a vacation in several years, not in the budget. I'm sure, wtih the economy, many of us who work outside the biz, can't afford this kind of thing.
Maybe you guys could give away some all-expenses-paid prize packages- hotel, meals, airfare, admissions! What a great idea!!!
You're welcome!

So, the Christmas episode this year . . . it's going to be animated? I think it's great. I have to be honest, though, the first thought that popped into my mind after hearing Jamie talk about it was Farscape, Revenging Angel. Any Scapers on the writing staff? I'm a huge one myself. Can't wait for Christmas now. Can't wait for the rest of season 4.5 to air. I want it all, right NOW! But wait, then I hear that this season is ending on a cliffhanger. Um . . . what the hell people. The whole year long hiatus is bad enough without you ending things with eminent disaster. Any chance for Eureka to be more like Sanctuary and for Season 5 to happen in January . . . pretty please, Syfy, with a cherry on top.
Also, I couldn't believe hearing Colin say that you got negative feedback about S.A.R.A.H. vaporizing the pizza boy. I thought it was great and am still waiting for a line to be dropped about how Carter can no longer get anyone to deliver to the smart house anymore. LOL. Is it Monday night yet?

I watched the whole thing, and the next night had a dream that Paglia hired me on as an intern.
