As those of you who attended our screening and panel at Comic Con already know, we have awesome casting news to announce!
Joining us for a multi-episode arc in the back ten of season four is none other than Queen of the Internets herself, Felicia Day!
Felicia paid a surprise visit during our panel to share the news with our unsuspecting audience. How cool is that!?
Not only that, but our friend Wil Wheaton dropped another love bomb on the crowd when he introduced the screening of episode 403 "All the Rage" on Friday night.
Dr. Isaac Parrish is back for more episodes as well!
Season four is our best one yet and it's only gonna get better. So hold on and enjoy the ride!

This is excellent news!! So excited to see what storylines the writers bring for these two.

So awesome!! Thanks for the update. Would have been so awesome to be at Comic-Con this year (hope to go one year). This season MOST DEFINITELY has been the BEST YET! I can't wait to see what all of you "Eureka" writers have in store for us viewers! Keep up the awesome work.

I would LOVE to see Wil and Felicia together! They have some GREAT chemistry together in The Guild! And SQUEEE for more of my favorites! The only reason I started watching Eureka is because I heard Wil Wheaton was coming, and now I am SO GLAD I did! :D

when will we be getting the back ten? January 2011 or July 2011? I really hope we're not getting another bunch of half seasons like with season 3 and 3.5! That was terrible!

Great casting news! Am very glad to hear they both will be there. Though I remain sorry that Tess is gone. i really enjoyed her character, honestly more than I like Alison. She seems more fun.

Sorry, I had to Google "Felicia Day" since I've never heard of her. When I saw her name and Buffy the Vampire Slayer I made the connection...I recall Jamie P. and several other writers mentioning they were Buffy fans. Please bear with me as I still am but a babe in the world of fandom.
Glad Will Weaton will be coming back; zombie movies were never my thing so I really didn't watch his performance, but perhaps I will catch him in the back-ten.

I'm looking forward to seeing what role Felicia will play in the back-ten arc. I loved her in "Dr. Horrible"--my daughter firmly believes that you now must get Nathan Fillion and Neil Patrick Harris to round out the team!
You know, just a background shot of NPH in labcoat and gloves would be a tremendous hoot....

Not a word about the other exciting piece of news about the season, as seen in the trailer shown during the panel? io9's already spilled it, so please, let us know more!
Seriously, the LJ forums and mailing lists are buzzing about that more than anything else related to the show right now...

@ Mister Terrific
I would love to see Nathan Fillon, although I think he might eclipse Colin Ferguson. Of course there is that pesky contract he has with ABC that makes him exclusive for Castle...details, details.

MaryM--I assume you're meaning the cool exec with the heart of steel, and a bottle of Ketel One in the desk drawer? :)

Mister terrific daahling - blowing a kiss your way. :-)

MaryM--does the "M" stand for "Mojito"? :)
Don't I recall you having a very jealous husband?

Very nice casting call. Felicia Day for the win.

Okay, so I know someone's gonna flame me for being a terrible person....but who in god's name is Felicia Day, and why is she 'Queen of the Internets'? Not that she isn't a pretty face (she is), but I really have no clue who she is....
This isn't a criticism of casting her at all, I'm just ignorant.

This is some awesome news. Felicia is bound to fit right in on this quirky show.

How about an announcement about Nathan Stark/Ed Quinn? Stop taunting us!

Chris--she's been in Buffy, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, and does a web series called "The Guild". I believe she's also going to be starring in a Syfy series/movie(?) called "Red".
IMDB has more details.

Didn't know who Felcia was either, sorry. Will have to see her in action... I'm hoping if there are any more love interests for Carter they'll be his age. Not sure if I like his longer hair... And I LOVE Henry's new love interest thing! I first watched this show because Joe was in it, I've always loved his vibe...

When are we getting answers to all the questions for Ep 4/1-3?
Posted by: Jason | 07/27/2010 at 02:29 AM
Didn't know who Felicia Day was until I got my grubby paws on Dr Horrible's Sing Along Blog. It has sparked my interest in her, however, and I have added The Guild to my incredibly long Netflix queue. I'm so glad Wil Wheaton is going to be on more episodes. I've loved him since 1986. :) "Chris, do you think I'm weird?"

I love The Guild, so I immediately knew who she was. I can't really see why people remember her from Dr. Horrible, as I didn't think it was any good.

I was so excited to see this news! She's one of my favorite actresses, and I think it's a shame she seems to get so little mainstream tv work. I can't wait to see what kind of character she gets!
